There's a new blogging trend where you google your name + needs and see what comes up. I was interested to see what I need, and I learned a lot about myself:
Sarah Needs A Cold Shower, Self-Esteem
Sarah needs to kick him in the nuts
Sarah needs to make a cake and some cookies
SARAH NEEDS ADOPTED
Sarah Needs A Life
Sarah needs a good cuddle
Sarah needs some more lovin'
Sarah needs someone with a mature, hardened presence
Sarah needs someone who can escort her from port to port
Sarah needs your $$$ (True)
Sarah needs to loose some weight fast!! (This might be true, but if I wrote it, I would definitely would spell lose correctly.)
I tried it with some other terms, but the results weren't quite as satisfying as knowing what I need.
This was a learning experience. For the sake of other Sarahs throughout the world who want to know what they need, I made my blog temporarily not searched by search engines.

What to do when it's -2
-2. Yes, that's the high tomorrow. In degrees Farhenheit. So, one might ask, what do you do when it's so cold outside? Here is my list of top things to do when it is bitterly cold:
1. Roast mallows over the fire. This is a favorite hobby of mine perfect for those subzero temperatures. In Utah we roasted over bonfires, campfires, wood stoves and the microwave. It's quite fun to branch out. Other possibilities include Starbursts, grasshopper cookies, and flavored marshmallows. Be creative. Also, I recommend using those little Spanish cracker/cookies.

2. Bring in firewood. when it's so cold, fire is your friend, and it takes a lot of wood to keep a roaring one going. Plus, if you bundle up enough, you get warm carrying around all that wood.
3. Do Kathy Ireland, the exercise bike, or box. It's pretty darn hard to get motivated to go running when it's -2 with a wind chill of -30. Plus it feels really funny when your snot freezes. Janet also likes punching the tv in the basement.

4. Eat. This is probably my favorite. Anything from avocado to ice cream works. I like to do this one at all hours of the day and night.

5. Watch Janet play basketball. She just played in a thriller against Antigo, a ranked team (or at least they were before DC Everest beat them.) They won 49-43. Janet got some key points at the end from free throws. That's in addition to the other points she scored earlier. She was also honored for being a senior. Way to make it to twelfth grade Jan.
6. Read. Reading is always a good idea, especially in front of the fire. Currently I am halfway through Anna Karenina. Also, I like to read the newspaper, National Geographic, the scriptures, and anything I can find.

Mom, Dad, and I went to the temple Saturday. It was very good. After, we went with Aunt Mary Ann and Uncle Jim to Red Lobster for dinner. It was the probably the best way we could have spent the weekend. Other than that, my life is pretty boring. I go to the Mickelsen home every day, and I take care of the babies, clean, and drive the older kids around. I have the opportunity to be a part of the great Wausau Stake Young Single Adults. This includes Institute on Thursdays and a fireside and activity each month. We had crowds of 5 singles at events so far (three 18 year olds, a mentally retarded boy, and me.) I can't wait for the mission.

For the enjoyment of the family and friends who may read this, I have posted the classic Fritzies lullaby. For those who may not know, this not-so-sweet song has been sung to Scoresby babies for years. So far, there has been no psychological damage reported. Others may disagree. Now, Joseph and Tracy can carry on the tradition with Baby Girl Scoresby.
