30 Books Before 30

I'm compiling a list of 30 books to read before I turn 30. Suggestions are welcome. So far I have a small list of books I feel like I should have read but for some reason I haven't:
Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury
Gone with the Wind by Margaret Mitchell
The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini

and this one to finish out the series:
The Mysterious Benedict Society and the Prisoner's Dilemma

What else should I include?

Extreme Cheapskates Part One

Remember that show? I don't know if it still airs since we don't get TLC. I usually took in an episode or two (along with House Hunters, Love It or List It, I Didn't Know I Was Pregnant, and Full House) when I visited Mom.

We don't dumpster drive, ask strangers for their leftovers at restaurants, or wear our clothes in the shower so we can wash our bodies and the clothes. But I do some extreme cheapskate things.

We had a large shoe box overflowing with hotel shampoos, conditioners, soaps, and other sundries. Brian has brought every single hotel item home with him for the last five years I think.
This was after I tried to use them all.

I emptied all the shampoos into an empty shampoo bottle, and the conditioners into an empty bottle, and we got a full bottle worth each of shampoo and conditioner.

I melted down all the soaps, added some coconut oil, and made new soaps. I don't know how much money this actually saved us, but we have a year supply of coconut oil soaps instead of a year supply of hotel soap.

It made a lot, like 25 bars.

I'm still not sure what to do with the lotions. The kids and I can't use the hotel lotions because we need something stronger (Aquaphor or similar).

A Race and a Reunion

Well, I thought we had more pictures than this, but this is it. I didn't make my goal time of under two hours for the half marathon (I came in at 2:04), but judging by the fact that I can barely walk today, I'm okay with what I did. The gif makes it look like I was barely moving my legs. That sounds accurate at that point in the race.

And we went to the CN Scoresby Reunion in Logan right after the race (but I showered in between, no worries). We got an updated version of this picture:

Much cuter, eh?

And while I am posting these gifs, here's a comical one of us trying to get a decent picture on our walk to Bridal Veil Falls.
